Vacation can be torture for painfully shy Charlie, who finds it impossible to talk to strangers. To avoid small talk, he poses as a foreigner who doesn't understand English. His plan backfires and chaos ensues when the locals start revealing deep secrets and diabolical plans in front of their quiet guest.
