Delfs Conducts Mozart

Although J.C. Bach’s Symphony in G minor is perhaps his darkest piece, it is considered to be a signature work of the 18th century. The music of Anna Clyne blends old soul sensibility with the fresh and modern. Premiered in 2019, Dance is optimistic and forward-looking. Mozart wrote his Symphony No. 40 in 1788. Sometimes referred to as the “Great G minor Symphony,” to distinguish it from his Symphony No. 25 or the “Little G minor symphony,” it was one of Mozart’s most greatly admired works.
