Gifts for Good FREE admission

Free admission to the museum on Sunday, July 24, is courtesy of the "Gifts for Good" program of the Rochester Area Community Association in celebration of the Association's 50 years of service. Trolley rides throughout the day. Reservations required! Go to www.nymtmuseum.org.

Admission is free on Sunday, July 24 at the New York Museum of Transportation. The Rochester Area Community Foundation's "Gifts for Good" program is sponsoring this event and paying for your tickets! Admission includes the museum's unique 2-mile round-trip trolley ride through scenic countryside. The museum contains trolley cars, a steam locomotive, giant model railroad, and the Midtown Plaza Monorail. Visitors will see artifacts and exhibits about transportation history, models, vehicles both highway and horse-drawn, and enjoy a gallery video on the Rochester Subway in its final days more than 60 years ago. Don't forget the well-stocked gift shop too!
