Google Analytics is a free tool used to monitor the impact of your website. With it, you can learn who is visiting you, how they found you, what they wanted and whether or not they found it. The problem is, it's not very easy to use. After this course you should be able to generate custom reports, quickly find the information that is important to you and perhaps be on your way to becoming Google certified!
Please note: Students should bring a laptop with them to class, logged into their Gmail account.
About the teacher:
Sean McKay is the founder of Site Hub, a web development company based in Rochester focused on millennial marketing. Although his role has shifted away from major development work, he still spends a LOT of time on WordPress with a solid background in HTML, CSS and Javascript. Sean grew up in Rochester, travels outside the country frequently, loves teaching others, and has a terrible sweet tooth (hint hint!).
