540WMain Communiversity + Laughing Gull Chocolates presents: History of The Morality of ChocolateThe semi-sweet chocolate bliss that melts in our mouths has a long, complex story. Join us as we travel across the world and throughout time, starting 5,000 years ago in Meso America where cacao was first cultivated.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

We will taste our way through the history of the morality of chocolate as we discuss the church's role in shaping chocolate for consumption and how cacao grows today, including the people in the farms harvesting the cacao that becomes our chocolate. This course is facilitated by Lindsay Tarnoff Owner of Laughing Gull Chocolates.
