Perhaps no musical genre has been so embraced (and reviled) as the disco movement of the 1970s. While disco dance music was dominating the pop charts, the rock world was morphing with other genres like funk and R&B, and even created new musical subgenres like yacht rock. In this ninth edition of our beloved Hitmakers series, we explore those that created the music we love and the music we love to hate. Let the battle begin!
