Introduction to Fencing

When you were a kid, did you ever dream of being a knight, jedi, or musketeer? How about getting en garde and trying the Olympic sport of fencing to fulfill those dreams? In this class you will learn the basic footwork moves, defensive actions, and use the actual fencing equipment!
Please note: Both first-timers and those who have fenced before are welcome. This class will take place at the Rochester Fencing Club(3335 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Rd, Rochester, NY 14623). Participants must wear athletic clothing and be ready to sweat in the gear. Please wear shorts or pants that go past the knee and athletic shoes-please no crocs, sandals, or boots. All safety equipment will be provided for you during this class.
