Grupo Cultural Latino presents Latin Celebration, a LatinX Project final showcase, taking place at The Theater at innovation Square on June 18, 2024 6:30 – 8:30 PM EST, and Sonidos Unidos, Alma de Mexico, Roco Bloco, Pittsford Creative Movement, Los Del Mambo and Folkloric Dancing from Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Panama.
Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester is proud to bring Latin Celebration, a LatinX Project final showcase to The Theater at Innovation Square as part of its 2-year culmination program with CRNY artist employment program (AEP). The LatinX Project has been created to increase awareness and education of Latino community and culture. This project intends to promote ongoing exchange and collaboration with emerging artists that support traditional art and community in our area and migrant workers in surrounding rural areas, in the hopes of encourage pride in the root of Wester New York immigrants and minority communities.
Date: Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm | Doors open at 6:00 pm
What to expect: Cultural voyage with custom costumes and creative movements. Special guests include, local celebrity known for hosting Noche Latina in Rochester, DJ Pabony. Dance to the music of Sonidos Unidos . Experience The rhythm of Los Del Mambo and Alma de Mexico . Be part of the Pittsford creative movement dance performance of the music video “Yo soy Latina” by local artist Thalia Pabon.
Ticket Prices: $10, kids 3 and under are free.

Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that focuses on sharing the diverse folklore of Latino communities with Western, NY. With the ongoing support of recreation centers, towns, and donors, they offer dance classes, bilingual story time, public performances, and more with the objective of increasing education, awareness, and community engagement. Programs are offered to all children, adults, and seniors transcending barriers of language and culture. Participants learn to work together and develop personal standards of excellence, pride in achievement, and a curiosity about the Latin American world. Every family can add value to our community by participating, volunteering, and joining us!
