Host Julia Figueras brings you a live broadcast of the Gateways Music Festival Preview on Backstage Pass, Friday, August 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. on Classical 91.5. In August, the program will be wrapping up the spotlight series on regional summer music festivals with a live broadcast from Kodak Hall. The Gateways Music Festival is a free and open to the public performance featuring an orchestra of 125+ musicians of African descent. Tune in to hear a number of phenomenal pieces and listen to the stories of several of the musicians.
Backstage Pass is a monthly live performance program which highlights performances by local and visiting musicians, giving Classical 91.5/90.3 listeners the backstage experience of meeting the artists “up close and personal.” Several times each year, Backstage Pass is performed before a live audience of sustaining members.
