Make Your Own Macrame Banner

Macrame isn't just for your grandma anymore! Learn the basics of macrame while making an adorable bunting banner. These are perfect for nurseries, mantles, over a bed, party decor - so many possibilities! This class will introduce students to common macrame knots and give them the foundation to start creating their own pieces. Participants can choose from two different designs and the class includes enough supplies to make a banner with five pennants.
About the teacher:
Laura Seymour is a local fiber artist and owner of Hitch + Cord. She works out of her home studio in Rochester, NY creating modern macrame wall hangings, banners, and plant hangers. When she isn't busy making macrame, she works as the Communications & Social Media Coordinator for our local humane society, Lollypop Farm. Laura is excited to help macrame make a comeback in the Rochester area and looks forward to teaching others about this beautiful art form.
