The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) announces its annual concert at Bristol Mountain is rescheduled for 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 27.
Join Guest Conductor Matthew Kraemer and your RPO for a magical evening of classical and contemporary music under the stars, with a wide array of crowd pleasers including “William Tell Overture,” selections from Oklahoma! and My Fair Lady, and a patriotic finale of the “Armed Forces Salute” medley and “The Stars and Stripes Forever.”
Tickets are $25 for adults, exclusive of ticketing and service fees. Children under 18 are FREE. Through Sunday, July 23 only, a VIP Dinner and Concert Package may be purchased for $85 per person, exclusive of ticketing and service fees.
Tickets purchased for the original date will be accepted or may be returned for a refund by contacting RPO Patron Services, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. weekdays, 585-454-2100.
Gates open at 5 p.m., with pre-concert fun for kids of all ages, including a rock-climbing wall, trampoline, bungee jumping, aerial adventures, and the RPO’s instrument petting zoo.
And don’t miss out on The Great Picnic Challenge. Display your creativity in one or all of three categories: Best Theme, Best Culinary Experience, and Best Presentation. Whether you’re a foodie, a decorator, or just love a good theme, there’s a category for everyone.
If there’s no time for meal prep, consider bringing a basket, blanket, and other items for your spread to compete in the Theme and Presentation categories. Then simply purchase food and beverages from Bristol Mountain concessions! Beer and wine selections, and delicious dinner items will be available throughout the evening. It’s the perfect way to spend a summer evening with family and friends.
