New York Yankees vs. Blue Jays and The National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum Bus Trip

TENTATIVE ITINERARY: Day One – Saturday, August 20: Travel to New York City and cheer on the NY Yankees as they take on our neighbors to the north, the Toronto Blue Jays. After a morning rest stop, we will travel directly to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. Following the game, we will proceed up the Hudson Valley to our hotel for the night in Poughkeepsie, NY. A stop will be made for dinner on your own enroute to the hotel. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Day Two – Sunday, August 21: After enjoying the included breakfast at the hotel – we depart for Cooperstown, NY and our visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Since 1939, the museum has amassed more than 40,000 artifacts that are rotated through exhibits that tell the story of baseball’s impact on our lives, and our country. The collection is spread over three floors and includes the centerpiece Hall of Fame Plaque Gallery that commemorates the greatest players and luminaries of the game. There also will be time to explore the shops in downtown Cooperstown and have lunch on our own before we depart for home. A short stop for restrooms and a fast-food dinner will be made enroute. Join us for this weekend dedicated to America’s National Pastime. Note: Seats at Yankee Stadium for the game are in Sec. 209 (right field corner). Baggage handling at the hotel is NOT included on this excursion. Departure times are subject to change if MLB / Yankees change the start time for the game.
