Old World Santa Carving Class - SOLD OUT

Woodcarving is a fun, creative and relaxing activity. Join instructor Chris Kieber for this introduction to a life-long love of whittling. Participants will learn to carve a classic Old World Santa Claus just in time for the Holidays. No previous experience is required. The project is suitable for both beginner and intermediate carvers.

A bench knife and wood blank will be provided. Participants should bring a lunch and their own Kevlar cut resistant glove to use on their non-dominant hand. The instructor recommends either a Kevlar glove with rubber gripping dots or a Kevlar glove reinforced with steel threads, both of which can be found at local wood carving supply stores or on-line. Space is limited. Ages 16 to adults.
