Oren Kessler's book Palestine 1936: The Great Revolt and the Roots of the Middle East Conflict was named a best book of 2023 by the Wall Street Journal. It is a gripping yet even-handed narrative of the origins of the Middle East conflict. Kessler, born and raised in Brighton, will lead a discussion of politics and authorship.
