The Rochester Oratorio Society’s (ROS) Arts Connexions Festival invites the
community to a free, three‑day exploration of 250 years of America’s evolving
story—expressed through music, history, and the voices that continue to shape our understanding of freedom. Different events on June 24, 25, and 28 at various locations.

ROS Connexions Festival Day 1:
The Rochester Oratorio Society's Arts Connexions Festival opens on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:15 pm at the Brighton Memorial Library with "Two Pivotal Figures in Freedom," a panel discussion led by Brighton Town Historian Mary Jo Lanphear. The fascinating discussion will highlight the lives and legacies of abolitionists Austin Steward and William Clough Bloss, who strongly shaped Rochester’s history and the national movement toward equality. Be prepared to be surprised and to learn more about these two individuals and their legacies.
