Round & Square Dance at York Central School
Bring a partner or just your dancing shoes! The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts is hosting a good ol' Round & Square Dance on Saturday May 2nd at York Central School. Even if you've never tried this form of entertainment, come learn and have yourself a great time!

Keep the Arts Alive by dancing! The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts invites you to our Annual Round & Square Dance on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at York Central School, 2578 Genesee St., Retsof NY. Music and calling provided by Kelly’s Old Timers, WNY’s longest-running dance band now in their 76th year. The dance runs from 7:00-9:30pm; come at 6:30pm to learn the basic steps. Tickets are $10, $5 for kids under 12. Presales online at gvartscouncil.org under the Keep The Arts Alive tab, and at the door. Refreshments will be available. If you’ve never been to a square dance, don’t worry; it’s easy to join in and no special clothing or prior knowledge is needed. All ages are welcome at this family-friendly, fun evening.
