“Saints and Sinners” will use plays (dramatic literature) to explore the theme of goodness and evil. There will be six monthly sessions in total: a session to introduce the series theme followed by five sessions to discuss each piece of literature. The plays are "Mrs. Warren’s Profession" by George Bernard Shaw, "Orpheus Descending" by Tennessee Williams, "Never the Sinner" by John Logan, "Agnes of God" by John Pielmeier, and "August: Osage County" by Tracy Letts. Participants will receive a free copy of each script. This series is sponsored by the Friends of the Lyons Public Library. This free program is available in person or on-line.
