Science Fun with Sid Columbus Day Weekend

Watch as Michael Fantauzzo (StickTrickDominoDude) and Chris Wright (xXDominoMasterXx) create a kinetic-art and chain-reaction machine using blocks, marbles, popsicle sticks, and more. Learn about wildlife conservation awareness and see live native and exotic animals during a 1 p.m. presentation on Saturday and Sunday by The Wildlife Defenders of Canandaigua, a wildlife education outreach group run by Bridges for Brain Injury Inc. Stop by a 4-H exploration station hosted by the members of the Cornell Cooperative Extension. On Sunday at 1:30 and 3 p.m. only, enjoy a science-themed musical performance by Eastman School students and faculty and participate in interactive acoustic presentations to learn about the physics of sound. On Monday at 1 p.m. only, watch Larry Moss from Airigami construct a balloon mousetrap to solve the problem of a mouse on the loose. Included with general museum admission fees.
