Sculptural Felting Workshop

Participants will use wet felting techniques to sculpt wool into natural forms, such as coral, barnacles, and more. The 2-day workshop, taught by Mallory Zondag, is held at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, NY.

Explore sculpting with wool during this two day workshop. Using the ancient technique of wet felting, you will learn how to sculpt wool into a multitude of natural forms such as branches and coral, barnacles, undulating layers and more! Mallory Zondag is a Mixed Media Fiber artist and artist educator. She graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Fashion Design, and her work has been exhibited in both solo and group shows in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Ukraine. INSTRUCTOR: Mallory Zondag DATES: Nov. 18 & 19, 2023, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. COST: $300 for Schweinfurth members, $310 for nonmembers. All supplies are included with a $40 supply fee.
