Show, Don’t Tell—But How?
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 03/14/2020
You’ve probably been told at least once, “show, don’t tell!” It’s one of the fundamental rules of writing, but how exactly can we do it? Through class discussions, reading examples, and writing exercises, we’ll take a deep dive into learning the specific tools and techniques used by great writers and apply them to our own projects. (And we’ll also learn when it’s okay to tell.)
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
