SPCA Serving Erie County is a humane society that cares for over 13,000 animals every year. In addition to caring for animals the SPCA's Humane Education department offers programs and services for children and adults of all ages from preschoolers to seniors. Programs include summer and school break camps, preschool programs, in-school and after-school programs, scout programs, tours, field trips, reading to the animals, and presentations.

Each workshop includes hands-on activities to teach basic care and enrichment for the target species and participants meet a representative firsthand.
