Spring Raptor Camp - Raptor Ramblings

Kids will get to learn about birds of prey, and how they are studied in the field at Braddock Bay by visiting our hawkwatch and banding station and exploring the habitat of Braddock Bay.
Tentative Schedule for Raptor Ramblings:
9:00 – Orientation at the Owl Woods* and Quick Binocular Lesson
9:20 – Owl Prowling – participate in the owl roost survey
10:30 – Hawk Banding Station Tour
11:15 – Head to Braddock Bay Park for Owl Pellet Dissection, Snack & Hawkwatching!
Suitable for kids ages 10 and up. A parent or supervising adult must accompany child for entire program. Reservations required and space is limited to 12 kids. Suggested donation fee is $5/child (adults are free). To register e-mail BBRR at information@bbrr.org or call 585-BOP-LIVE
