Summer Soiree in the Maze

New this summer! We are opening our famous Amazing Maize Maize up for select summer evenings so come out & get LOST! This is a great opportunity to bring the family out and try the maze in the warm summer evenings before the fall season. Your ticket price includes all Back 40 attractions!

The Amazing Maize Maze at Long Acre Farms will run from 4pm - 8pm on August 14th, 15th, 22nd, 28th, 29 and Sept 5th. 6 chances to try the maze in the warm summer evenings. The maze and back 40 attractions are the perfect outing for the family. The maze is stroller/wagon friendly.

$12 ages 3-12 years. Under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Come early and enjoy a wood-fired pizza, cheese plate, beverage in our pop-up wine garden OR bring the whole family and let the kiddos run and play before tackling the maze. The Back 40 is also open & included in Summer Soiree ticket price. Back 40 only IS an option during these Soiree evenings. The farm market and ice-cream shop are open until 9:30pm
The theme for the 2020 Amazing Maize Maze is Cast Your Vote! 2020 is not only a presidential election year, but also the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional right to vote! Long Acre Farms is owned by a family full of women so it is important we honor this momentous year.
The 5-acre corn field will depict a traditional voting ballot box, and as guests navigate the paths they will learn some facts about the history of voting in the United States & around the world. The mazers are encouraged to collect pieces of the maze map puzzle located in mailboxes throughout the maze. These pieces can be taped onto their gameboard, and if all twelve mailboxes are found, the pieces will build a picture of the whole maze that the guest can then use to navigate their way out. The average time in the maze can vary from 30 minutes to over 2 hours epending on the luck and the skill of the maze teams.
