Superheroes Weekend: Meet Spider-Man

Meet Marvel Comic’s official Spider-Man on Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Meet and pose for a picture with the superheroes at a designated time by picking up a free ticket in the Caterpillar Atrium the day of the event. (One ticket per person. Tickets are available one hour prior to designated superhero appearance times while supplies last.)
Both days, visit with PBS Kids' Super Why until 4 p.m. Also all weekend long, celebrate with finalists from The Strong Facebook comic book costume contest. Learn how you can be a hero for our environment by joining forces with Larry the H2O Hero, get a free comic and temporary tattoo, and try out the enviroscape. Talk with members of the Be a Healthy Hero Street Team and discover the secrets to living the 5-2-1-0 lifestyle with great nutrition tips, alternatives to screen time, and physical activities that will get the entire family moving. Receive drawing and writing tips from professional artists, check out original art, and view an engaging display of comic books spanning nearly 50 years created by Alfred University. Drop into the American Comic Book Heroes: The Battle of Good vs. Evil exhibit and climb up the side of a skyscraper, and more. Included with general museum admission fees.
