Taste Making Techniques

This workshop is focused on tassel-making techniques for tapestries, wall-hangings, necklaces, garlands, and upholstery elements. Finished pieces will vary on maker’s desired outcome, and choice of materials. All types of threads, yarns, and fabric will be included. Crafters are welcome to bring in any special materials that can add to your project like chains, earrings, beads, purses, bags, ropes, and more!
About the teacher:
Courtney Craig is a surface designer who enjoys the studio environment and creating custom textiles for interior spaces. Elements of vintage, contemporary, and traditional design are her favorites to explore. Courtney is currently living in Rochester and is inspired every day by the local artisan community.
