Whether you are a long-time resident, new to our community, or a virtual visitor, we believe you will share our sense of pride in our Village founded in 1789. We are the first settlement west of the Genesee River in New York State; we are located sixteen miles from the City of Rochester. Scottsville is well known for our world-class brown trout fishing on the Oatka Creek located on the Village’s southern border, and we welcome everyone to participate.
