ABOUT CARL DUPONT: Carl DuPont is an artist, innovator, and educator dedicated to Transformational Inclusion in the arts and Care of the Professional Voice. His “rich, nuanced baritone” (Columbus Underground) has held center stage in performances at the Glimmerglass Festival, Opera Carolina, Opera Columbus, Annapolis Opera Company, First Coast Opera, Toledo Opera, Opera Saratoga, Sarasota Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera, El Palacio de Bellas Artes, Opera Company of Brooklyn, The IN Series, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Leipzig Opera. His articles can be found in The Laryngoscope and the Voice and Speech Review. DuPont can be heard on the world premiere recordings of the Caldara Mass in A Major, The Death of Webern, and his solo album, The Reaction. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (BM), Indiana University (MM), and the University of Miami (DMA), he currently serves on the voice faculty of the Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute.
ABOUT SARAH RHEE-TIRRÉ: Canadian-Korean pianist, Sarah Rhee-Tirré, has performed as recitalist and soloist with orchestras throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Her engagements include performances with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra(USA), Rome Chamber Orchestra (Italy), New Millennium Orchestra (Spain), Orchestra London (Canada) and Eastman Symphony Orchestra among others. She has captured numerous first prizes at the international level since the age of 9. Sarah is a top prizewinner of the Virginia Waring International Piano Competition, Montreal Symphony Orchestra Competition, and 4-Time winner of the Canadian National Music Competition.Sarah is an avid chamber musician and lecturer. She has served as Artist-in Residence at the Banff Center of the Arts in Banff, Canada, performing and recording piano-duo repertoire with pianist Monica Ohuchi. Solo and chamber performance venues have included Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall (New York), Ford Center for the Performing Arts (Toronto, Canada) and the Eastman Kodak Theatre. Most recently, she gave a series of master classes at Silpakorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
ABOUT PABLO BUSTOS: Pablo Bustos, tenor is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where he received both his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Vocal Performance. Highlights of concert appearances include Handel’s Ode to St. Cecilia, conducted by Ton Koopman with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Carnegie Hall (Ton Koopman Young Artists Workshop). Under the auspices of the Eastman School of Music, he was a featured guest soloist with pianist Beryl Garver, singing a program titled, "To Julia: Songs by and about women," featuring works by Hensel, Strozzi and Quilter. This summer Mr. Bustos will sing a program featuring Schumann's Liederkreis Op. 24 and Argento's Six Elizabethan Songs, at both the Eastman School of Music and the New York State Summer School of the Arts, School of Choral Studies with pianist Greg Hankins. He has been invited to sing Bach's Cantatas BWV 62, 91, 121 in performances with the Bachfest Malaysia at 'Thomas Kirche' during the 2020 Leipzig Bachfest.
