Weaving Workshop

Join us for a very basic introduction to Tapestry Weaving with a simple lesson on basket or plain weave and an emphasis on texture, fringe, & pattern. This is not an introduction to European Tapestry woven prior to the twentieth century.

-Join us for a very basic introduction to Tapestry Weaving with a simple lesson on basket or plain weave and an emphasis on texture, fringe, & pattern. This is not an introduction to European Tapestry woven prior to the twentieth century. Small retro wall-hangings, coasters, and mini textiles will most likely be your finished piece.
Please note: The basic tapestry frame that will be used in class can be rented after class, but it's not necessary. one week rental if needed.
