Join us for songs, stories and toys! Every Tuesday at 10:00am, parents are invited to bring babies and toddlers to the Children’s Center of the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County to enjoy a variety of fun early literacy activities such as singing, rhyming, and playing with toys and other young children. While the children learn to play with each other, parents will have an opportunity to socialize. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays August 16. Wee Read is intended for children 3 and under and is free and open to the public. Join us this week in the Reading Garden, next to Starry Nites Café to sing songs, share stories, and play with water outside in the garden. Children will have a chance to test objects: will it sink or float? If it is a rainy day, we will meet in the Children’s Center. For more information, please call the Children’s Center at 428-8150. The Central Library is accessible to people with disabilities. To request specific accommodations, call 585-428-8304 ten days prior to the program.
