*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 11/05/2016
The WE@RIT Engineering Open House is a buffet of engineering possibilities for girls in grades 5-9, their families and educators to explore. Led by female engineering students, this is an opportunity to learn about engineering and its societal impact.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Come join Women in Engineering (WE@RIT), as you browse and experience hands-on activities, demonstrations and posters from all disciplines within Kate Gleason College of Engineering. Think of this as a buffet of engineering possibilities for girls in grades 5-9, their families, and their educators to explore.  What do engineers do? What do they look like? What opportunities are available to them? How does engineering impact society? How can K12 educators tie engineering into their classroom curriculums?  Come to the open house and learn!  This event is entirely led by female engineering students.  Free!  Groups welcome.  Please RSVP on event website.
