Pittsford Musicals returns to the stage this summer with a production of Stephen Sondheim’s beloved fairy-tale musical Into the Woods for one weekend only: August 7-9 at Pittsford Sutherland High School.
This three-time Tony award winning musical follows a Baker and his Wife who journey into the woods, hoping to start a family. Their story soon gets tangled up with many familiar faces from the Grimm fairy tales, who each have their own reasons for entering the woods. This modern classic oƯers a timeless perspective on the search for “happily ever after,” and explores what might come even after that.
You can see Pittsford Musicals’ production of Into the Woods Friday August 7th at 7pm, Saturday August 8th at 2pm* and 7pm, and Sunday August 9th at 2pm. *Saturday’s 2pm show will be ASL interpreted.
