WXXI's Exploration Station

WXXI has partnered with the Monroe County Library System to keep families learning and exploring all summer long with Exploration Station events.

-WXXI has partnered with the Monroe County Library System to keep families learning and exploring all summer long with Exploration Station events. The program kicks off Monday, June 29th from 12-4pm at the Children’s Center of the Central Library (115 South Avenue, Rochester). After the kick off, Exploration Station events are hosted every Thursday 12-4pm from July 2 through August 13 at the Central Library. These events are free and best for children Pre-K to 2nd grade. Topics include buoyancy, magnetism, nature, magnification, tangrams, patterns, math, building bridges, and more. This program is supported in part by WXXI’s American Graduate: Let's Make It Happen initiative.
