The average American sends 4.4 lb of waste to landfill every day. This waste takes up land, wastes resources and energy and produces methane which contributes to climate change. Come learn how most of this waste is completely avoidable using simple changes in your day to day life. She will cover how to avoid waste when shopping, eating out and around the home using tips that she herself has successfully used to reduce her waste over the past year.
Please note: $5 per ticket sold for this class will support the ongoing mission of Rochester Greenovation to reduce landfill waste in our community.
