Advanced Survival Skills

Go beyond the basics with Master Naturalist Chris Kieber and Herbalist Dave Kieber for a hands-on survival skills workshop at the Nature Center.

f you have attended a previous class, this one will challenge you with much more detailed and extensive information on various fire making methods, water procurement, and ways to find or make shelter. Participants will have hands-on experience in each subject along with more in-depth discussions on the topic. Attendance at previous sessions is not required. Please dress appropriately for the weather and pack a lunch. In order to devote individual attention to each participant, class size is limited to eight people, ages 16 to adult.
