Join Paul Siefken as he shares how public media is carrying on the legacy of Fred Rogers, and learn more about WXXI's Education Services.
Did you know that each year WXXI hosts dozens of Ready to Learn workshops to empower early childhood staff and parents with ways to integrate public media into their curriculum? Or that we provide professional development opportunities for hundreds of K-12 educators through webinars, workshops and conference? Or that we present a free online multi-media library and curriculum service for educators, students and families?
On Tuesday, October 20 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. we invite you to our Starting Early for Success: WXXI Education Services from Cradle to Career event at WXXI's Studios (280 State Street). There you'll learn more about our Education Services and hear from Paul Siefken, Vice President, Broadcast and Digital Media, The Fred Rogers Company, about how public media is working to carry on Mister Rogers' Legacy. Light refreshements will be served and tours of the station will be offered.
This event is free, but reservations are required. To reserve your spot, please call (585) 258-0200 by Tuesday, October 13.
