The Basics of Blind Tasting – White Wine

Learning how to blind taste wine enhances our ability to use our senses to describe and appreciate the characteristics of wine as we enjoy it.
In our July class you will learn how to use your sense of sight, smell and taste to distinguish different white varietals and use the proper descriptors associated with each wine. We will use the actual Certified Sommelier tasting grid to direct our discussion. I’ll start off the evening with a brief overview of descriptors for sight, smell and taste before we have some real fun blind tasting some delicious white winesIf you missed our class in June when we blind tasted red wine, catch up with us in July as we have fun chasing the identity of some tasty white grapes!
After this class you will be able to use your senses to identify wines and use your words to properly describe them.

$25 per person includes wine, light fare, handouts and gratuity.
