Join us for a fun educational family program sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension and 4-H on Monday, July 20th at 7:00. (Attendance is via Zoom.) Learn about common birds in the Monroe County area and how to identify their bird calls. Practice proper binocular-holding skills using recyclable items and discover how to attract birds to your yard. You’ll also be introduced to bird watching apps. For the binocular craft, participants would need: two toilet paper roll tubes, tape, scissors, yarn/ribbon/string, a sheet of colored paper (optional: single hole punch.) For the birdfeeder craft you’ll need an empty egg carton, scissors, string, birdseed. Space is limited; please register in advance. After you register for the program you will be sent the Zoom link via email.
