Project Carnaval showcase will be on October 2nd 2021 at the Kodak Center door opens at 6:00 pm. This project intends to promote ongoing exchange and collaboration with emerging artists that support traditional art as well as having dance as the core, reflect a permanent search of expression through different languages and traditions. This year we will bring the historic Carnaval celebration. Our community will expect all the costumes, songs, music, and dance as well and one-of-a-kind kids “comparsa walking dancer” that will showcase the fun that comes with it. This project will give our community and students a brief history of the origins of Carnaval from its origin in Italy to its renowned popularity in South America, the Caribbean, and beyond.

Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester, Inc is a non‐profit organization celebrating its sixth anniversary. The group’s mission is to promote Latin American folklore in Western New York through educational events, community workshops, and meaningful live performances.
