In this workshop presented by RIT Women in Computing, girls ages 9-13 years old will learn about the ways computers process the information we give them through two hands-on activities. Did you know that you can write your name in binary using the ASCII code that computers read? Learn how your computer translates what you type to something it can understand. Explore whether your computer is really as smart as you think it is. What happens when you try to get it to make you a sandwich? Please register.
