Cool Tech Gadgets: Osmo Coding

Stop by the library lobby between 4-6:30 pm for an informal demonstration of Coding with Osmo. This set of special bricks, called the "Legos of Coding" by engadget, paired with an iPad's camera and a special mirror allows the user to program an animated character; Awbie by manipulating the colorful bricks. Watch and wonder as Awbie moves and completes tasks on the iPad. Simple enough for children, challenging enough for the adult just starting out, this 30-level game teaches coding essentials like sequencing, and looping.
