Demystifying Firing & Glazing with Kyle Lascelle (@kylelascellepottery) on Tuesday, July 11 from 10am - 4pm.
Kyle will provide a refresher on glazes, surface techniques, loading and firing a kiln, and troubleshooting glaze and kiln issues.

This workshop is geared towards K – 12 educators (or anyone) who would like a refresher on glazes, surface techniques, loading and firing a kiln, and troubleshooting glaze and kiln issues. There will be an hour lunch break from 12:30 – 1:30; you can either brown bag it or grab a bite at one of our great neighboring restaurants. Afternoon topics include lowfire and cone 6 glazing, to stilt or not stilt, and you will get a chance to help load an electric kiln.
