September 14 - October 27 - Fall Fun at Stokoe Farms For seven short weeks, the farm welcomes families to come out and start new traditions. Touch the sky on the bounce pillows, fly down the bee lines, enjoy a lazy hay ride around the farm, pedal karts, giant slides, nature trail, a corn maze, Maize-o-poly, train, Sports Challenge, Apple Cannons and so much more! Check out some of our special events such as The Marvelous Mutts, A Canine Spectacular, Grandparents Day, The 8th Annual Cruise-In, Autism Appreciation and Military Appreciation weekends, and more.

August 31 - October 27 - Pumpkin Fiesta at Becker Farms - A pony ride, The jumping pillow, Bounce House, Goat Races & Sing along (show times 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00), Hayride through the forest, The farm animal petting Zoo, Playground with slides, jungle Gym, duck races, water tables and big bales of hay to jump on.

September 7&8, 14&15, 21&22- Darien Lake Harvest Festival - The event brings together the beautiful fall foliage around the park grounds with fall-themed family activities, local craft and food vendors and special accommodations packages.

September 7 - October 27 - Fall Sky Rides @ Bristol Mountain - Enjoy the beautiful autumn colors of the Finger Lakes from the Comet Express chairlift to the summit of Bristol Mountain. This tranquil 15-20 minute ride is for people of all ages to experience the Bristol Hills and the valley below in all its splendor.

September 13 - Murder, Mystery & Tragedy Tour - This special tour, given by our history experts on Friday the 13th, will allow you to join the spirits of tragedy as you journey through Palmyra's dark past. Many haunting tales will be told on this unique walk. Bring a flashlight.

September 21-22 - Naples Grape Festival - Since 1961, the grape festival is held every September in our valley to celebrate the areas grape harvest, talented artisans, wine makers, local and regional music and cuisine.

September 28 - NYPA Wildlife Festival in Lewiston - This popular event hosts more than 50 exhibitors and vendors, various wildlife shows, archery, fishing pond, shooting trailer, and more. Get hands-on experience in outdoor activities.

September 22 - 23 - 4th Annual Arts & Crafts Festival at the Garden Factory -  The Third Annual Arts & Crafts festival is a two-day event inside our flower mall greenhouse, featuring over 70 local photographers, painters, jewelers, crafters, sculptors and more!

September 29 - 30 - AppleUmpkin Fall Festival - We invite you to revel in the final golden days of summer along gaslit streets lined with hundreds of craft vendors, strolling entertainers and the mouth-watering aromas of delectable festival treats!

September 16, 23, 30 October 7, 14, 21, 28 - Fall Foliage Trolley Rides - The colors of autumn in upstate New York are best enjoyed from the clear open windows of the 100-year-old trolley car at the New York Museum of Transportation. The 20-minute rides pass through woods and open fields, traversing the only vintage trolley line in the state.

October 14 - Colonial Belle’s Fall Foliage Cruise - Autumn in upstate New York produces a palette of brilliant reds, deep golds and vibrant yellows along the Erie Canal. The fall foliage in New York State is one of the best displays in the northeast. Soup, seasonal meal, side dishes & dessert. Live music by Fred Vine. Departing from Schoen Place in Pittsford, NY and cruising to Downtown Rochester and back.

September 30 - Harvest Festival & Barn Dance - A Harvest Celebration and Barn Dance Fundraiser for Shimmering Light Farm. Includes Fall activities such as cider pressing, honey extraction, herb crafts, a harvest dinner and ethnic desserts made form local produce. And live music and contra dancing!

September 30 - Old Falls Street's Oktoberfest - German-themed event with authentic German music, dancing, food, beer and more! Come and OOOM PAH with Old Falls Street at our 8th annual Oktoberfest event!

September 30, October 1 - Hilton Apple Fest - pples, Handmade Arts & Crafts, music, souvenirs, dining, fruits and vegetables, and more.

October 1 - 31 - A Taste of Wayne County - 20th Annual Apple Tasting Tour - Each stop is unique. Apple tastings, food samples, door prizes, special events, and lots of fun!

October 1 - 31 - Spooky Nighttime Hayrides at Powers Farm market - Come take a ride as the woods grow darker and just a little bit spookier—you’re sure to find a few things that weren’t there during the day! 

October 1 - 31 - Fall Fun at Bauman's Farm Market - The Scary Pumpkin Room. The TeePee. Fried Cakes. Tours for school children. Pumpkins. The Hay maze. LOADS of APPLES! Too many to list!

October 5, 12, 19, 26 - Haunted History Ghost Walk - A 60 minute walking tour of Lyons focusing on architecture and paranormal stories was designed by Mason Winfield. Meet in front of the Wayne County Court House. Reservations are required beforehand by calling the Museum of Wayne County.

October 6 - Rush Fall Festival - Food, Craft, & Local Produce Vendors, Monroe County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol, Chase’s Hay Maze,Chase’s Hay Rides, Free Pumpkin Painting; Face Painting, Display of Coloring Contest Winners,Bounce House, Free Children’s Games, Rush Ladies’ Auxiliary Serving Food & Drinks All Day,

October 6 - Fairport Scarecrow Festival 2018 - Main Street is adorned with unique scarecrows and attendees can vote for their favorites. Music, entertainment, open houses, activity venues (including pony rides, cookie decorating, and Giant Pumpkin guess!) and vendors are scattered throughout the village.

October 13, 17, 20, 21  - Fall Foliage Excursion at Medina Railroad Museum - Enjoy the changing seasons the old fashioned way on this autumn excursion! The purchase of a first class ticket on this two hour trip will include a meal served in complementary tupperware and reusable insulated Medina Railroad Museum lunch bag.  

October 6, 7, 13, 20, 21, 27, 28  - The Great Pumpkin Patch at McCracken Farms - Enjoy lots of entertainment in our rustic woodland village, a tractor drawn wagon ride, which takes guests to our authentic pumpkin patch, where everyone is able to find and pick the perfect pumpkin.

October 7 - 9 - Letchworth Arts and Crafts Show - This event hosts over 300 artisans, artists, and master craftpersons from throughout the country, and has been ranked in the top 50 Art Festivals in the United States. 

October 8 - Downtown Rochester Fall Foliage Tour Aboard the Colonial Belle - Autumn in upstate New York produces a palette of brilliant reds, deep golds and vibrant yellows along the Erie Canal. The fall foliage in New York State is one of the best displays in the northeast.

October 17, 18, 19, 20 - Spirits of the Past at Genesee Country Village & Museum - Take an after-hours guided tour through the candlelit and spooky streets of the historic village to find costumed characters spinning tales from iconic horror literature of the 19th century.

October 13 - Fall Gardening Symposium - Join us at Sonnenberg Gardens for our ever-popular Fall Gardening Symposium featuring popular garden speaker and writer, Claudia West as our keynote speaker.

October 14 - Fall Festival @ Bristol Mountain - Celebrate peak fall foliage with Sky Rides, bands, wine and beer tastings, food trucks, hiking, an alpaca petting zoo, and a variety of fun craft vendors.

October 14 - New Moon Barn Dance and Count Your Blessings Harvest Dinner - With honeyed beams glowing and lantern light twinkling and festive fall foods - Dance the Night Away - Meet the Farmers, Young and Old - Taste the Treasures of Furrow and Field - Cash Bar - presented by regional artisans.

Oct 18-20, 25-27 - Haunted Hayride at Becker Farm - Come if you dare...but don't come alone!! Our Haunted Hayride, and phylotec have been scaring the "yell" out of unsuspecting victims for some time now . It has become a Halloween tradition, so bring your friends and family, Scouts or sports groups - as many people as you can to protect you from the strange happenings and eerie encounters that go on in the Becker Farms forests after dark.

October 20-22, 27-28 - Mansion Mysteries at Sonnenberg Gardens - Come take part in a “whodunit” at Sonnenberg! Guests will have a chance to take part in this live-theater event by uncovering the clues that will solve the mystery and bring the guilty party -or parties- to justice!

October 21 - Halloween Trolley Express - Visitors to the New York Museum of Transportation will take a trolley ride to the Halloween Patch to enjoy delicious cider and donuts.

October 28 - Jumpin' Pumpkin Jamboree - This event will include a one hour train ride, a themed goodie bag, museum admission, and face painting, tattoos, coloring, and arts and crafts for the kiddies.

October 28 - Spooktacular - This popular family event features a special giveaway to the first 300 youngsters, spooky games all day, a horse-drawn hay ride (weather permitting), movies, and a children’s contest for best costumes. Enjoy free rides on the Niagara Scenic Trolley between the Niagara Power Vista and Gorge Discovery Center during the event. 

October 28 - Best Cider Donut in Rochester Contest - It's back! We will be pitting 10 of the top cider donut makers in rochester in a head to head battle royale! 

October 29 - Haunted Garden Stroll at Sonnenberg Gardens - Be ready for a stroll through Sonnenberg Gardens where strange sights, sounds, and Sonnenberg tales that will leave you in goosebumps!
