Museum-wide
Whether you’re a robotics enthusiast or just curious to learn more about robots, you’ll be inspired by the innovation and creativity on display at FLX REX (Finger Lakes Robotics Expo) at the Museum. Experience exciting robotics demonstrations, student-built competition robots, and hands-on activities featuring robotics teams and technology from across the region.
Admission to FLX REX activities is included with regular Museum admission (and as always, kids and teens 17 and under receive free admission).
The Southern Tier’s Premier Robotics Scrimmage Event
High-energy match play and cutting-edge engineering take center stage in the Auditorium as 14 robotics teams face off in live scrimmages throughout the day. This family-friendly event for all ages gives you the chance to experience the excitement of competitive robotics up close and connect with the students, mentors, and innovators driving STEM forward in our region.
Law Enforcement Bots on Display
Explore real-world robotics up close as law enforcement industry bots are showcased. Learn how automation and robotics play a vital role in modern policing and public safety operations. Get an inside look at how these advanced machines operate and the impact they have on the communities they serve.
Drone Soccer Demonstrations
Experience the fast-paced excitement of drone soccer as teams take to the air for live demonstrations throughout the event in our Innovations Center. Watch skilled pilots maneuver their drones through goals and around obstacles in this high-energy, tech-driven sport that combines strategy, teamwork, and precision flying.
Robot Mario Kart
Head to the Gather Gallery to experience Robot Mario Kart in action! Watch robots race through a custom course, navigating turns, obstacles, and challenges in a fun, high-energy activity inspired by the classic game.
Robot-Themed Hot Glass Demonstrations
Ever seen a robot brought to life in glass? Drop by the Amphitheater at the Corning Museum of Glass to watch our Hot Glass Team create robot-inspired designs live during special themed demonstrations.
You won’t want to miss seeing molten glass transformed into mechanical-inspired creations right before your eyes!
