There are a significant number of hands-on activities for youngsters including a scavenger hunt, soapstone carving, and operating a sluice. The 45 minute fluorescent mineral show UVBob offers is a great learning activity about minerals and their properties. And in addition to some 15 vendors with minerals, fossils, etc., there will be multiple educational exhibits from club members.
