Have you ever wanted to try glass flameworking? This Sampler class at the Rochester Arc + Flame Center is a perfect place to start. No experience is necessary, and all materials and safety equipment are included in the price.
Using borosilicate glass and flame, students will create up to 3 glass pieces they can keep or gift to others. You will learn skills such as: how to light the torch, adjust the flame, stretch, gather, cut and fuse borosilicate (boro) glass rods to create your own glass masterpieces. A wide range of color options are available for you to experiment with. NOTE: Class projects will be ready for pickup 1 week after the class.
Students must be AT LEAST 16-years of age to attend any recreational class at our facility.
