If you can imagine it, you can embroider it. Handmade embroidery has exploded on to the DIY crafts scene and the possibilities are endless. This fun skill enables you to make one of a kind pieces of art, both decorative and wearable. In this class you will learn the basics of hand embroidery: tools and materials, basic stitches, troubleshooting, online resources, tips for working with fabric and paper, and unique project ideas. Participants will do hands-on embroidery and will bring home their own hoop, fabric, floss, and needle to complete any project their heart desires. Learn a new craft for handmade holiday gifts and work on cool projects during the winter months! Fiber crafting experience is a plus for this class, but all skill levels are encouraged to come. The only prerequisite is a passion to learn.
