Celebrate the Maple Sugaring Season at Helmer Nature Center! Tree Tapping Tours, Maple Treats, Refreshments and Crafts for the Kids.

Come to the Helmer Nature Center to celebrate the maple sugaring season. Walk our trails as staff and volunteers take you through the sugaring process. Help collect sap and stop at the evaporator to watch it cook into syrup. Make and sample maple treats such as maple ice cream, sugar on snow, milkshakes and more! Fun crafts for the kids. Hot dogs, maple pulled pork, maple baked beans and assorted beverages and desserts available for purchase. Admission is free. Nominal fee for some activities.
