Intro to Adobe Premiere with Chris Cilento (@chriscilento) on Mondays, April 10 - May 1 from 6:30 - 8:30pm.
Have you ever seen a video that just made you say “Wow!” Ever thought to yourself “I wish I could do that!” In this class you will learn to use Adobe Premiere Pro, the industry-leading video editing software for film, TV, and the web. We’ll cover the basics, importing video, adding cuts, text and audio, color correction, and a few tips and tricks to make your editing quick and efficient. Once the basics are covered we’ll use what we’ve learned to do a few basic projects. Finally, the class will finish with each student completing a final project of their own. By the end of the class you will have a stronger understanding of the program and the resources to help you craft footage into polished film and video. Included (with reservation): access to the Digital Art Studio outside of class for the duration of your session.
Required: Students must bring a 32GB (or larger) external drive to class to store video files and have a video recording device (yes a cell phone counts).
