A great volunteer opportunity for kids 10+ and adults!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Please join us for a fun and helpful volunteer opportunity with our beautiful, heirloom Iroquois White Corn. After being husked, braided and hung to dry through the winter, our corn is now ready to be shucked. This is a wonderful indoor activity for individuals, families and other organizations (recommended for ages 10+ with adult supervision). Learn about the traditional ways of shucking our corn, and help us at the same time.
Interested volunteers, please contact Kim Morf, Iroquois White Corn Project Manager at (585) 742-1361 or via email at whitecornproject@gmail.com. Thank you!
