This class investigates how the grammatical concepts most people know and can learn, apply directly to writing, and to writing well: our goal. I will guide you through simple and more complex grammar rules that if observed, will improve your writing.

Improving our writing starts with the dot on each letter and comma, and ends with the document. Through the process, we pass through multiple revisions. This class investigates how the grammatical concepts most people know and can learn, apply directly to writing, and to writing well: our goal. I will guide you through simple and more complex grammar rules that if observed, will improve your writing immediately. Please bring a piece of your own writing of any genre (cover letter, academic essay, biography, letter, and e-mail among others), or I will provide a sample for you.About the teacher:George Goga is an English major studying to become a high school English teacher at SUNY Geneseo. He has taught and tutored students how to improve their writing and reading skills. In his free time, he reads classical novels, his favorite being Don Quijote. During his occupied time, he covertly reads some more.
